Molli's Baptism Dress

I finished Molli's dress and I am very stoked about it. It turned out decent enough. I had fun using the sewing machine and all it's cool tools to sew it. I found out that I had this one foot to help me with the hems. I am very excited for Molli's baptism. She is excited also. It will be on Saturday at 10:00 at the Stake Center.

My Boys

If anyone knows Lance, they know that Lance likes to have a clean, snow free driveway. It is hard to accomplish where we live since there are always renters driving on our driveway, but he always seems to keep it clean. Apparently this has rubbed off on his boys, especially Lincoln. If Lincoln gets off the bus and there is snow on the driveway, he always begs me to let him shovel the driveway. He does a pretty decent job at it too. It was fun this morning to see all my boys working on the driveway together. It makes a Mom feel secure knowing that even her little boys are such hard workers.

Digital Scrapbooking

Over Christmas my computer was fixed so I tried to install my Scrapbooking program again and it worked!!! Now I just have to figure out how to use it. I am hoping that I will be able to get caught up on my scrapbooks by going digital. If anyone has any hints on doing digital scrapbooking it would be greatly appreciated!

Lance being cool

So I wish I had a picture, but I don't. I just need to give some props to my husband for being so cool. Yesterday at the property he drove his snowmobile across the water. The edges of the water had about 1/4 inch thick ice for maybe 1-2 feet out, then it was just cold water. He went the first time and we thought he was going in, but he ended up on the other side with a desire to do it again. Against my advice, he went again and it looked so cool! The water was spraying up everywhere! I think it is so funny that Lance and I ended up together because he is so daring and I am not. I guess we just even each other out. Good job Lance! You are so awesome!

Happy Birthday Lincoln!

Lincoln is my Christmas Baby. He was so excited about his birthday coming. I think we had been talking about it since Halloween. He had three things he really wanted: an ice cream cone cake, hulk hands, and a grabber arm. He got all three.
It took me a while to figure out what the ice cream cone cake was but I finally realized it was a cake from Macey's. Lincoln had been eying it for awhile. I must say all the icing was a bit much and the cake totally turned your mouth blue. All that mattered though was that Lincoln loved it.
Lincoln got the Hulk Hands, the grabber arm and a new helmet with goggles. Grandma and Grandpa Paxton got him a big loader so he could play with Blake. He was very excited with his gifts.
He had a lot of people there to enjoy his birthday with him. We even did a pinata. It took the kids a long time to finally break a hole in it. I even got my super slugger sister Mary to try to break it, but no go. It was fun though.
I am so proud of my cute Lincoln. It has been a fun 5 years. We love him so much. It is fun seeing Lincoln grow and learn. He is always trying to take my things apart. I can't wait until he learns to put things together! :>) Happy Birthday Lincoln! We love you!

Christmas Time

I had such a wonderful Christmas. I was blessed to have my whole family come to my house on Christmas. My parents and Derrick and Kyle arrived in Logan on the 22nd. They made it through all of the snowstorms and I was so happy they were safe. Mary and Jon came down on Christmas Eve with Audrie and Luke and Audrie's in-laws, September and Jim.

On Christmas Eve we had a nice big Christmas Eve Dinner. My Dad even went out and bought us a rib roast for dinner. So Yummy! We then played games and had a very fun secret gift exchange. Lance and I stayed up late, till 2 am wrapping and putting gifts together.

Christmas day was also a lot of fun. Lance and Molli started out the morning with a wonderful lesson on the true meaning of Christmas. We then had a fun morning of unwrapping gifts. It actually went very smooth considering how many people and presents were stuffed into our living room.

Lance then did a great "craft" project of rocket building. It was fun to see Lance come up with such a great Christmas day activity. Everyone built a rocket and we then launched them in the backyard. My mom and I were a little nervous but the men all seemed very excited about the rocket launches. We gave out prizes for the best ones. Fun! Fun!

That evening we had leftovers for dinner. We then did an ornament exchange of ornaments that we all made from things around our house. We also celebrated Lincoln's birthday.

It turned out to be such a wonderful Christmas. Thank you to all of my family for coming out to visit me. I love you all so much and you made this a very memorable and wonderful Christmas!

Blake's Birthday

Happy Birthday Blake!

My baby boy turned three on December 9th. It is amazing how time flies. He didn't quite realize what was going on until his birthday actually arrived. He then realized how fun it was to be the center of attention for the day. He got his balloon bouquet with a Thomas the Train balloon in it. I think this would have sufficed for him. He really loved the Thomas balloon.
We made him a cake and Blake decided that it needed to be in the shape of a triangle. Lincoln really wanted him to have a circle cake and Blake was not going to let Lincoln decide so he was adamant that the cake be a triangle. Well, I did the best that I could. It wasn't the prettiest cake, but Blake was sure proud of it and that is all that really matters.
Blake loved opening the presents. He was very sweet and let his brothers and sister help him unwrap. It is kind of like everyone's birthday when the kids get presents because they all like the same things. Blake mainly received Thomas the Train toys but Grandma and Grandpa Paxton bought him a dump truck and I think that might have won the grand prize. The kids absolutely love it. Blake loves to put all of his trains in the back and drive it around the house. Sometimes he even puts Bart in it. Happy Birthday Blake! We love you!
